Limited financial aid to attend ISPP 2017 will be provided by the Special Interest Group on Pain in Childhood (SIG), International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).

  • For selected applicants from developing and currency-restricted countries, a small number of full scholarships will be available covering most travel expenses as well as full registration and most local accommodation costs. Eligible countries are listed at http://www.iasp-pain.org/Education/Content.aspx?ItemNumber=1815
  • For selected trainees, full registration and most local accommodation costs will be covered. Undergraduate and graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and residents in recognized training programs will be eligible to apply.

Priority in allocating financial support will be given to members of the IASP and the SIG. Information on membership is given at www.iasp-pain.org/DuesRates?navItemNumber=674. Special rates are available to persons with limited income.

Priority will also be given to applicants whose proposals for workshops or posters have been accepted for presentation by the Scientific Program Committee. The deadline to submit proposals for workshops is extended to 31 August 2016. The deadline to submit poster abstracts is 31 January 2017.

We plan to provide decisions on these awards within two weeks after the Notification dates for workshops and posters listed at www.ispp2017.org/important-dates
